These days there are very few things we can all agree one.
But that chocolate chip cookies are delicious might be one of them.
They're so simple and yet so satisfying. And while there are a million iterations of the classic out there, it is really hard to mess one up!
With so many things going for it, it's no wonder this cookie has its own official day. And if you want to celebrate it, here are some ideas:
Make some chocolate chip cookies (duh!)
You can download my recipe for the (clears throat) best chocolate chip cookies ever here. The ingredients list is super simple and you probably already have all of them in your pantry. For chocolate chips I use Enjoy Life Vegan Chocolate Chips.
Make a skillet one pan cookie
Turn the indulgence up on that cookie making and instead of several cookies, make one massive chewy, soft, melt in your mouth cookie that you can top with vegan ice cream and share with a spoon! You can see my recipe for it here. The key to getting that texture is using vegan butter. I use Earth Balance Vegan Butter.
Make a chocolate chip cookie milkshake
Because ingesting your calories with a straw is just so satisfying, you know? My recipe is super easy and takes all of 3 minutes! I use unflavored almond milk in mine but you could go with cashew, soy or any other dairy free option if you prefer it.
Just buy some cookies
I'm always happy to do the work for you so all you have to do is eat the cookies! You can purchase Curious Cat Bakery vegan cookies here. They're available nationwide with 2 day shipping and if you're in the Tampa Bay area, you can pick them up or have them delivered.
Stay curious,
Natalia
